tonight i am heading to the museum of fine arts to see the avedon fashion 1944-2000 exhibit with two of my best friends; lin and caroline, of poppy and leo. i am so looking forward to this, as his work is a constant inspiration. his photographs always exude confidence and a playfulness that is often lacking in fashion magazines. i have included a few of my favorite avedon photographs. i especially love the first photograph of robin tattersall and suzy parker; so full of happiness! this has been a terrific day so far and i am so thrilled to spend my evening with two lovely ladies and a room filled with lovely photographs!
