oh, monday. i'll say it again...i cannot take these rainy monday mornings. while the light made it a bit easier to wake up this morning the rain pounding on our roof made me want to crawl back under the covers. if you follow me on twitter then you know my actual outfit today was a total failure. i thought of it while i was laying in bed last night and let's just say it didn't quite turn out as planned...and worst of all, i wore it anway.
so, flashback to friday. this is what i wore to work. it was such a simple combination, and one i had not tried before, but the pairing of the uber-feminine skirt with a slouchy boyfriend cardigan and my throwback boots. i added a girly statement necklace to bring more balance to the ensemble and it was the perfect outfit for a friday spent in the office and an evening out with jeb.
i see so many bloggers with this skirt and i really love the way you made it work with less girly things!
