      a short post tonight since i am headed over to jill's for the season premiere of 'gossip girl'!  i am so excited!  this is my hour each week to completely forget about real life and live in someone elses world.  (so fake, but so beautiful.)

      lin took these photos for me last night.  this is actually the outfit i wore to work on friday.  i decided to throw it back on, since i loved it so much, and do a little reshoot.  my gray corduroy pencil skirt from j.crew will be a staple in my fall and winter wardrobes, but i thought i would break it out for one of the cooler days of september.  paired with this ethereal top i didn't feel as though i looked too ready for the cold months.  i thought the combination of peach and gray worked out incredibly and i look forward to working that in a bit more in this transitional weather.
